Our Ti-6Al-4V alloy bars have twice the mechanical qualities of commercially pure grades, with tensile strengths above 895 MPa and yield strengths above 828 MPa. With diameters ranging from Φ6mm to Φ450mm and lengths up to 12,000mm, our production capacity allows for quick delivery from a 3,000-ton stockpile.Every rod undergoes vacuum melting, accurate forging, and centerless grinding to guarantee exact dimensions within ±0.05mm and surface quality matching ASTM B348 and AMS 4928 requirements.

Technical Specifications

Aluminum (6%) and vanadium (4%) alloying components are combined in our rod to produce an alpha-beta microstructure. For your challenging jobs, this provides outstanding strength-to-weight performance.

Q: What are grade 5's primary benefits over commercially pure titanium?

A: Grade 5 offers greater high temperature performance up to 400°C and double the tensile strength of Grade 2 (895 MPa vs. 345 MPa). However, because of the increased hardness, you will require specific machining tools.

Q: Is it possible to cold-form your rod?

A: The high yield strength and limited ductility of cold forming make it quite challenging. To prevent cracking, we advise either buying pre-formed components or hot forming at 870–925°C.​​​​​​​Our production capacity allows for fast delivery from a 3,000-ton stock, with diameter sizes ranging from Φ6mm to Φ450mm and lengths that can be customized up to 12,000mm.We ensure that the dimensions are accurate within ±0.05mm and that the surface finish meets the standards of ASTM B348.

Q: What makes the Gr5 and Gr23 versions different?​​​​​​​

A: Gr23 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI) has a lower level of interstitial oxygen (maximum 0.13% vs.0.20%), which gives it 30% better toughness, making it suitable for use in very cold environments and for medical implants.

Q: How should titanium rods be stored?

A: Store them in a dry place with humidity below 60%.Although titanium is naturally resistant to corrosion, moisture from later welding steps might bring in hydrogen.Keep the original packaging sealed until you are ready to use the rods.

Q: Do you provide certificates of material traceability?

A: Yes.In accordance with ASTM E213, each batch includes Mill Test Certificates (MTC) that record mechanical properties, chemical composition, heat treatment history, and ultrasonic inspection results.Additionally, following AMS 4928 standards, each rod is made using vacuum melting, precision forging, and centerless grinding.
