6Al4V Titanium Plate: High-Performance Grade 5 Titanium Solution

Baoji Jucheng Titanium Industry Co., Ltd specializes in manufacturing 6al4v titanium plate (Grade 5, UNS R56400), the most widely utilized titanium alloy globally.We have a production plant that covers 120,000 square meters and over 20 years of experience in the titanium industry.We always keep more than 3,000 tons of titanium ready throughout the year so we can deliver quickly when needed.

Our plates are much lighter than steel, with a density of just 56% that of steel (4.43 g/cm³).
These plates have a tensile strength of up to 1000 MPa.Each plate goes through strict annealing and pickling processes.They come in thicknesses from 4 mm up to 80 mm and widths up to 2500 mm.Our plates are made to meet ASTM B265 and AMS 4911 standards and are used in aerospace, medical, and marine industries where having a high strength-to-weight ratio is very important.

Structural Elements of Aerospace

Materials that can handle extreme temperature changes from -210°C to 400°C and strong forces are needed for parts like bulkheads, firewalls, and landing gear supports.Compared to steel, our plate reduces the weight of the airplane frame by 40% and meets AMS 4911 standards, which also prevents a type of damage called alpha-case that can happen under high stress at high altitudes.

For medical uses like custom-made craniofacial plates and spinal instruments, the ELI (Extra Low Interstitial) type of titanium is used because it works well with the body.
It helps prevent a condition called stress shielding, which can cause bones to weaken, by having a stiffness level (113 GPa) that is close to that of human bone.It is also safe to use with MRI machines because it doesn’t contain materials that can be attracted to magnets.

In energy and marine projects, materials that can resist cracks caused by chloride in water under high pressure are needed for parts like subsea risers, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers.
